No Hat, No Play: where evidence and empathy meet.
There’s a lot of stuff about how to raise kids on the internet. There’s also a lot of research being done into all sorts of issues parents, carers and friends face: from what to feed kids to how to approach schooling to healthy attitudes to kids’ sport. Unfortunately, there’s often a disconnect between what experts know and the advice available to parents.
No Hat, No Play will attempt to bridge that gap. We’ll be connecting parents to experts through good quality journalism, and helping people to make the right decision for their families and for the kids in their lives.
Because we truly believe it takes a village, this won’t just be a site for Mums: it’s for Dads and Grandparents and Aunties and Uncles and Godparents and Friends. It will be a site where all families, no matter what they look like or who they’re made up of, will be welcome.
At No Hat, No Play, we’re going to skip the judgement and anxiety-inducing stories, and focus instead on empathy, compassion, honesty, humour and gentle advice from people who’ve been there.
No Hat, No Play will be launching soon. Click here if you’d like us to update you as we get closer to launch.
